We meet once a month September - June usually on the 2nd Saturday most often at Shane's Seafood Restaurant on Mansfield Rd in Shreveport from 11:00 am- 2:00pm. Next meeting is in June. Please join us!

Here is Mr. J.C. Hanna receiving The Jefferson Davis Gold Medal by Shreveport Chapter UDC at our 89th annual Lee / Jackson luncheon on January 20, 2024. Also included is a letter from SCV CIC Boshers regarding the work Mr. Hanna did for the Reconciliation Monument at Arlington National Cemetery that led to the bestowal of this prestigious award.
J.C. Hanna is a long-time member of SCV Lt. Gen. Richard Taylor Camp in Shreveport and serves as Commander of SCV Army of Trans-Mississippi. We are very proud of J.C. and for his commitments to our Southern Heritage and are honored to have been able to award him for his hard work.
Shreveport Chapter 237 had the honor to bestow the UDC Cross of Military Service award to Mr Sylvester Martinez at our 89th annual Lee / Jackson luncheon held on January 20, 2024. Mr Martinez serves as Commander of SCV Sabine Rifles camp and served his country in Vietnam. We are grateful to Syl for his defense of our country and our Southern Heritage
